Enabling our clients is how we grow our own business. One of the ways we can accomplish this is by using reliable third party tools and plugins, often free of charge, to bridge the gaps that would otherwise be fulfilled by a costly customized solution, which often times requires an IT person to manage.

Every organization needs a web presence in today’s world. An organization who doesn’t secure their own place online will likely have it done by someone else without their knowledge; such as a listing in an online directory or a parked domain under their name. We set our clients up with a basic Content Management System (CMS) that is user friendly and easy to operate and make the domain name purchase on our clients behalf. We provide full training of this system to the primary users, and then work with our clients to create a customized site based on their needs. If at any point the client wants to bring in their own web designer and/or switch to a different CMS, they can do that while maintaining their hosting with Emmons Consulting.

Email

Often overlooked, email is the foundation for many organizations as the primary method of contact. It’s also a tool to filter different types of requests from the public. In fact, there are many uses for email that many organizations fail to recognize. We work with our clients to find out just how flexible they need their email to be. From standard email setup to allowing cloud access, we do our best to match an email setup to your style of day to day business.

There are a variety of ways of making your organizations data available to your team members while on the road. Based on a client’s needs we can recommend a solution and complete the setup process. Based on the types of files you are hoping to share/store, the solution we recommend may change.
